Description
The Traditional Jip ensemble comprises a white chemise (loose blouse) with lace trimmings and red ribbon, a printed skirt (floral, madras, checkered, stripes, etc.) which is partially lined with white cotton ( called the jip), a white petticoat with red ribbon, and a foula. As this outfit allows the wearer more freedom (details are not as specific as the wob dwiyet), the wearer may select any creole headpiece she desires.
